Find registered online pharmacies in the UK

Online pharmacies may provide NHS repeat prescription services, private treatment or both. Some begin with an online consultation reviewed by a qualified independent prescriber.

When treatment is appropriate, an electronic prescription can be issued to the pharmacy for dispensing. Medication may then be collected or delivered, depending on the provider.

Check that the provider is a UK-registered pharmacy listed with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and that prescription decisions are made by qualified prescribers.

A safe provider uses appropriate consultation and identity checks and clearly explains prescribing, fees and delivery.

Avoid providers that hide registration details, supply prescription medicines without checks or make unrealistic treatment claims.
